With over 20 years in financial services, Nick Markionni has both a diverse and extensive business background.  Beginning in banking in 1988, Nick joined AFC in 1996 serving first as General Manager and now Vice President & Managing Partner of AFC Financial Advisory Group, where he works directly with clients, oversees compliance and product selection, and directly manages the discretionary portfolio.  A 1986 graduate of Northern Illinois University, Nick holds an Associates Degree in Business from Prairie State College and in 2004 received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, graduating with honors.  He holds Series 63, 7 and 24 Securities registrations as well as life and health insurance licenses.  He is a Certified Financial Planner®, and a Certified Fund Specialist. 

A lifelong resident of Chicago’s South Suburbs where Nick and his wife Jeannie still make their home, he has been very involved with Rotary, having served two terms as President of the Rotary Club of Homewood.  He has served as Homewood Rotary Foundation President for two terms and has served as Assistant District Governor, District Treasurer and Parliamentarian.  He has previously served on the finance committee of his church, where he chaired his parish centennial, and currently sits on the boards of the Prairie State College Foundation and The Drama Group of Chicago Heights. 

Nick is often called upon to speak to community and business groups, having recently addressed the American Airlines pilots and a professional group at Loyola University Medical Center.
